Exminster Parish Council offers Community Grants to support local projects and initiatives that benefit the residents of Exminster. The grants are available to non-profit organizations, local groups, and charities that are working to improve the community and enhance the quality of life in the parish.

Grants Policy and Procedure

 

Purpose of the Grants

 

The Community Grants aim to:

  • Support projects that address the needs of the local community
  • Encourage community participation and cohesion
  • Promote social, environmental, or cultural initiatives
  • Aid in the development of local services and facilities

Who Can Apply?

 

Grants are available to:

  • Local community groups
  • Voluntary organisations
  • Charities and non-profit entities based in or serving Exminster Parish

Types of Projects Supported

 

Applications are considered for a wide range of projects, including but not limited to:

  • Educational programs
  • Environmental improvements
  • Sports, arts, and recreational activities
  • Enhancements to local facilities
  • Projects promoting social inclusion and wellbeing

How to Apply

 

To apply for a grant:

  1.   2. Provide details of your project, including objectives, benefits to the community, and a breakdown of the budget.
  3. Submit your application to the Responsible Financial Officer by email or post.

 

The closing date for applications is the last calendar day of the working month to allow valid applications to be considered at the second Parish Council meeting of the following month.

Feedback on Project

If your Grant Application is successful Exminster Parish Council requires the Grant Feedback Form to be completed and returned within 30 days of at the end of your project or within 12 months of the grant issue date if that is sooner.
