Teignbridge District Council's Local Plan Review

Teignbridge District Council’s (TDC) local plan sets out the policies, proposals and actions to meet the environmental, social and economic challenges facing Teignbridge District up to 2033. It runs from 2013 – 2033 and was adopted on 6 May 2014. Exminster Parish is within Teignbridge.

TDC are required to review the plan every 5 years to ensure that it is up to date and reflects the changing needs of the area.

The consultations on parts 2 and 3 of the plan took place in the summer of 2021 and at the beginning of 2022. The Parish Council responded to both of them.

The final consultation on the proposed submission version began in January 2023.
